After getting my degree in illustration in 2023, I decided I wanted to be able to teach my craft to others. I am currently getting my bachelors in Fine Art and Design in Education. This allows me to teach art, drawing, art history, printmaking, and illustration to people of all ages and groups. I am scheduled to graduate in june 2026.
I love giving lectures and courses about illustration and my own experience as an illustrator, book designer, and art director. My knowledge lies in a variety of fields:
- Illustrating for editorial clients (newspapers, magazines, etc.)
- Book design and typography
- Reaching out to clients, finding illustration jobs, professionalizing your practice
- Various techniques and how to combine them (gouache, acrylic, pencil, etc.)
- Technical skills such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and how to prep your art for printing
- Printmaking techniques: screen print, riso, etching, lino
